Details. Details. Details. There is no better way to create a truly unique and unforgettable event than paying special attention to adding exquisite details that your guests can discover throughout the day.
During the recent Soolip Bridal Event in Orange County, California, the team at Karen Tran Florals showcased their talents by creating this stunning table top using a palette of petal pink, ivory and touches of sherbert hues. At first glance it is of course beautiful… but it’s the second, third and fourth glances and the discovery of countless details that will keep your guests talking for days.
Floral designs were displayed using boxes in several shapes and sizes wrapped with scrumptious silk and then adorned with anything from rows of blush toned ostrich feathers, vintage crystal brooches and my personal favorite, little handmade rosettes carefully constructed from frayed dupioni silk. Gorgeous!
Simply Posh Design contributed couture menus to this lovely display using ivory silk pocket boards enhanced with handmade embossed mother-of-pearl paper, double faced satin ribbon and layers of shimmering card stock complete with swarovski crystal embellishments.
When it comes to weddings, there are few things I admire more than a Bride with a bold vision and the courage to carry it out. Thanks to Diane Brewer and her carefully kept secret of appearing not as the bride in white but rather the elegant Lady in Red, the Hotel Del Coronado exploded with color and red hot romance the day she wed her love.
Susanne Duffy from Crown Weddings was the perfect choice to plan this romantic and vibrant day. My favorite wedding decor designer Karen Tran created jaw-dropping florals bursting with color and a touch of whimsy with a heart shaped carpet of rose petals to greet the guests.
And who better to capture a Red wedding than Heather Moreau of Vallentyne Photography.
Simply Posh Design brought custom programs, menus, place cards and table signs to the event using their palette of amethyst and red and adding ruby swarovski crystal embellishments whenever possible. I loved working on their wedding. Congratulations Diane and Tim!
Truth be known, I tend to fall just a little bit in love with most of my clients….but none as much as Pat and Gerry Hirata – -quite possibly the sweetest couple on Earth with an extraordinary sense of style.
Their wedding took place at Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa and featured peacock blue and cymbidium green as the signature colors. Simply Posh Design created a couture boxed invitation suite for the happy couple – -complete with a handmade silk folio and crystal buckle detail. Their bold color palette was carried throughout all the reception stationery including bejeweled place cards, table signs and menus. Additionally, each guest received a little program booklet prior to the seaside ceremony in which Simply Posh happily published a poem written by the groom to his gorgeous bride.
